Organization Mandate
"The purposes of the Society are:
a)To promote awareness and understanding of technological, demographic and cultural changes that may have an impact on the Pender islands' environment;

b)To provide leadership in responding to the above changes where it is deemed appropriate;

c)To promote knowledge of and participation in environmentally friendly land and resource use;

d)To support and assist community efforts to preserve and protect lands of significant importance in maintaining the natural environment;

e)To do everything incidental and necessary to promote and attain th foregoing purposes including obtaining funds and acquiring by purchase, donation or otherwise, land and personal property."

Adding to a large inventory of property covenants.
