To promote the sport of fly fishing through education, companionship and conservation

Sandhill Creek, Saanich Peninsula

Since 1990, the club has undertaken restoration and improvement of Sandhill Creek as breeding habitat for wild Searun Cutthroat Trout and other anadromous salmonids. Activities include in-stream structural improvements, bank protection by fencing and planting, mofication of barriers to fish passage, and flow supplements to compensate for irrigation.

Forebay Lake, Jordan River

Members have cut trees that threaten the earth-filled dam of this small lake. Activity has ceased since 1998, but might be resumed.
